At NOTON by Raquel, every collection begins with a feeling — not a trend. My handmade fashion process is deeply personal, intuitive, and rooted in slow fashion values. Each piece is crafted with care, using sustainable materials and traditional techniques that bring every design to life.
Since 2010, I’ve been designing and crafting the pieces you see in the online shop.
It all begins with quiet observation: textures I love, colors that move me, fabrics that inspire a new story. Right now, I’m working mostly with natural materials like cotton, wool, and repurposed denim.
My go-to techniques are crochet, knitting and sewing — and I often let the material itself guide me. Sometimes an idea comes quickly. Sometimes it takes days of experimenting. But that’s the beauty of slow fashion: it has no deadline, only purpose.
The ARIA collection, for example, was born from the desire to create something light, easy, and timeless — like a breath of fresh air. I wanted to design wallets that feel soft and subtle, but still strong and full of personality.
My process may be simple, but it’s always filled with intention. Whether I’m crocheting at home or cutting denim to reuse, I’m thinking about the person who will carry that piece. I hope you feel that energy in every stitch.
