It’s that time of the year when we do a spring cleaning, preparing the house for the arrival of warm weather, and also organize our wardrobe. Here are some good tips for cleaning your closet in order to make room for what’s new in this next Spring-Summer season!
- Clean your closet: take everything out and choose what you want to keep and what you want to donate. The warm clothing is washed and stored for next winter, and light clothing is washed and set aside to be kept in the closet at the end of this cleaning.
- Clean very well the inside of your wardrobe and then place some air fresheners to keep a fresh breeze inside you closet.
- Now that everything is clean start by placing your clothes in the wardrobe. You can choose if you prefer to place your clothes by colors, or by types of clothing (pants, skirts, blouses, jackets, etc). This will make it easier for you to find your favorite pieces!
- Inside the drawers keep your clothes of more use in the top drawers, and the clothes less used in the bottom drawers, in order to be more reachable the clothes you wear on a daily basis.
Now that you finished your spring cleaning don’t forget to donate that big box of clothing that you kept aside, so you can start taking a look at the new Spring-Summer clothes!
